Mabon is the harvest festival centered around the Autumn equinox. it is the celebration of a balance between dark and light, the abundance of the season, and preparation for the cold seasons to come. This Gemini whisk is an original design combining two Rooster Tail Whisks into one handle. In honor of Mabon I used rich brown and home-dyed golden broomcorn to give this Gemini a face of light and a face of darkness, as well as a contrasting weave up the handle. This is a powerful ritual broom, honoring the duality of this liminal time of year.
