This class takes place over Zoom at 11am Pacific (2pm Eastern) on Saturday May 23rd and will take about three hours.
We will be making Rainbow Braided Rooster Tails! This class will demonstrate the method for creating the “braided” effect of the broomcorn, with special focus on achieving clean, straight lines of color and even twine spacing throughout. The result is a beautiful rainbow whisk!
The kit includes:
- Broomcorn - about 7oz of your choice: Solid Rainbow, Black with Rainbow accent, or Natural with Rainbow accent
- Black Nylon Twine
Other items you may need which are not included:
- a sharp knife
- a pair of scissors
- a lighter
- a hand towel for your lap
- a dowel to use as a foot brake, about hip-width
- a way to soak the full length of your broomcorn
Cost includes the custom kit and admission to the Live Zoom class. You will also receive a recorded demo some time after the class takes place, as this is the first of these workshops. This class will be recorded for this purpose.
