This workshop will take place on Zoom on Saturday, January 31 at 10 am Pacific.
Join our Imbolc Brigid’s Cross Stitched Altar Whisk Workshop and learn how to make a traditional ritual whisk using curated, hand-dyed broomcorn. In this Wheel of the Year class, you’ll create a solid wrapped handle and stitch a Brigid’s Cross directly onto the whisk while exploring the seasonal lore of Imbolc, renewal, and hearth magic. This online broom-making workshop is perfect for beginners and experienced makers who want to craft a meaningful tool for cleansing, protection, and altar use. Reserve your spot to celebrate Imbolc with intentional, heritage-rooted craft.
The kit includes:
- Curated Broomcorn
- Trimmed Broomcorn for the Brigid’s Cross
- Coordinating Twine
- Stitching Clamp
- Stitching Needle
- Prep Card
Other items you may need which are not included:
- a sharp knife
- a pair of scissors
- a lighter
- a dowel to use as a foot brake (explained later)
- a container to soak your trimmed broomcorn (a large lidded jar works great)
-a hand clamp (optional, but handy for taking breaks)
For international orders, choose the “Local Pickup” option and include your address and phone number in the notes. In order to give you the fairest rates, we will bill you separately for S&H! Please contact us prior to purchasing for any shipping questions.
Cost includes the custom kit, admission to the Zoom class, and a recorded demo.
