This workshop will take place on Zoom on two separate days:
Friday, August 28th at 1pm Pacific (4pm Eastern), we’ll learn to attach the bristle to the stick. This portion will take about 2 hours.
Monday August 31st at 1pm Pacific (4pm Eastern), we will stitch and weave our brooms. This portion can take three to four hours. In the days between, your bristle will dry before stitching.
Your purchase will include:

Other tools you will need:
broomcorn
handle
broomcorn stalks for weaving
tarred twine for constructing your bristle
twine for stitching and weaving
stitching needle
drill
lighter
dowel to use as your foot brake
sharp knife
sharp scissors
hand towel
close-fitting gardening gloves
container to soak your trimmed broomcorn (a large lidded jar works great)
hand clamp (optional, but handy for taking breaks)
