July 10 - Braided Rooster Tails

from $220.00

Please read all information thoroughly!

This workshop will take place via Zoom on Friday, July 10 at 11am Pacific time, and will take two to three hours.

The Braided Rooster Tail is an elegant whisk that is worth the complicated process. You will learn tension winding as well as how to weave the hurl—creating a braided broomcorn effect. This produces a finely finished and detailed whisk. Many use these brooms as ceremonial tools, but they make beautiful decor, and are completely practical for all of your nooks and crannies.

The kit includes:

- Broomcorn (Natural, black, or mixed)
- Colored twine of your choosing

Other items you may need which are not included:
- a sharp knife
- a pair of scissors
- a lighter
- a hand towel for your lap
- a dowel to use as a foot brake
- a way to soak your broomcorn (about 10” deep)

You will be prompted to select your kit options after clicking “add to cart”

If you would like to order two kits with different color selections, please add them to the cart individually.

Cost includes the custom kit, admission to the Zoom class, and recorded demos.

US orders must be placed by Monday June 22 to allow time for kit assembly and shipping to arrive in time for the workshop. International orders (including Canada) must be placed by June 15. All US kits are shipped at the same time approximately two weeks prior to the class date.

Due to variations in lighting and screen color settings, we cannot guarantee that the color you see on your screen exactly match the color you will receive in your kit (although I’ve done my best to achieve color accuracy, some of these colors are pretty tricky to photograph!)
