This workshop will take place on Zoom on two separate days:
Friday, June 12th at 1pm PST, we’ll learn to attach the bristle to the stick. This portion will take about 2 hours.
Monday June 15th at 1pm PST, we will stitch and weave our brooms. This portion can take three to four hours. In the days between, your bristle will dry before stitching.
Your purchase will include:

approximately 1.5lb of broomcorn
a handle
broomcorn stalks for weaving
tarred twine for constructing your bristle
twine for stitching and weaving
a stitching clamp *
a stitching needle
a drill
a lighter
a dowel to use as your foot brake
a sharp knife
sharp scissors
a hand towel
close-fitting gardening gloves
