Want to deep dive into broom-making? Sign up for a workshop bundle to save 20%, and come away with a unique set of Autumn themed brooms!

The Fallen Leaves Complete Broom Bundle offers an immersive seasonal broom- and whisk-making experience, guiding you to create two handled brooms and two whisks in our warm, Autumn-inspired Fallen Leaves color mix. Across four workshops, you’ll explore a variety of traditional techniques—from tension winding and stitching to solid twine wrapping and decorative hurl weaving.

Your journey begins with the Sweeper Workshop on November 7 & 21 at 10am Pacific, where you’ll craft a classic Amish-style broom with sculpted shoulders, flat-stitched bristle, and a woven hurl cap, allowing time for the bristle to dry between sessions. Later, on November 7 at 3pm Pacific, create a Solid Wrapped Simple Whisk in the Turkey Wing or Hawk Tail style, practicing solid twine wrapping and bristle shaping.

On November 8 at 12pm Pacific, the Porch Broom Workshop will guide you in making a compact round besom, perfect for corners or sweeping hidden eaves. The series concludes on November 21 at 3pm Pacific with the Solid Wrapped Stitched Whisk, a polished whisk featuring a sleek, solid-wrapped handle and carefully stitched bristle. By the end, you’ll have a coordinated set of four functional, beautifully crafted tools that celebrate the colors, textures, and spirit of Autumn.

Your kit will include:

- broomcorn color mix
- two kiln-dried PNW hardwood handles
- tarred twine for constructing your bristle
- midnight colored twine for stitching and weaving
- two stitching clamps
- a stitching needle
- workshop prep cards

Other tools you will need:
-
a drill
- a lighter
- a dowel to use as your foot brake
- a sharp knife
- sharp scissors
- a hand towel
- a container for soaking the top 8” of your broomcorn (the stiff ends)
