Long Handled Cobwebber: Virtual Workshop & Kit - August 29

This class takes place over Zoom at 3:00pm Pacific on Friday, August 29 and will take about two hours.
We will be making Cobwebbers! This is truly one of the most versatile brooms. It is great for getting underneath and behind furniture, and nothing is better at reaching ceilings and tall corners. For this workshop, we will be making a long handled version of the Cobwebber for extra reach and a fun witchy silhouette. This class covers both stitching and weaving, as well as tension winding with a foot break.
The kit includes:
- Craft Broomcorn (only Natural is available for this class)
- Twine of your choosing
- 30” - 40” Natural broom handle (kiln-dried, ethically sourced PNW hardwood )
- A stitching needle
Other items you will need to gather ahead of time:
- A sharp knife
- Scissors
- A lighter
- A straight wooden dowel, roughly hip-width and about 2” in diameter
