This Workshop includes a pre-recorded class and a custom kit, so you are able to work on your own time at your own pace, and still benefit from the feeling of Live instruction with questions and answers from past workshop participants. The video is casual and unedited.
In this workshop you will learn to make a Cobwebber style broom. This class demonstrate how to attach broomcorn to a handle as well as stitching and weaving.
The kit includes:
- Broomcorn (only Natural is available for this class)
- Twine of your choosing
 - Wooden stick for you broom handle (kiln-dried, ethically sourced PNW hardwood)
- A stitching needle
Other items you will need to gather ahead of time:
- A sharp knife
 - Scissors
- A lighter
- A hand towel
- A wooden dowel to use as a foot brake
- A gardening glove for your dominant hand (optional)
You will be prompted to select your  twine color after you click “purchase” - if you are purchasing a kit with the ability to make more than one broom, and you want to make them all different, please leave other twine color selections in the Notes at checkout. You will be prompted to select your twine color after you click “purchase”
Please note that only Natural broomcorn is available for this class
For international orders, choose the “Local Pickup” option and include your address and phone number in the notes. In order to give you the fairest rates, we will bill you separately for S&H! Please contact us prior to purchasing for any shipping questions.
