October 24: Solid Wrapped Black Stitched Whisk - Virtual Workshop & Kit

This class takes place on Zoom on Friday, October 24 at 10am Pacific and will take about three hours.
Please sign up by October 9 to allow time for kit assembly and shipping.

Start off a whole witchy weekend of broom making with this moody, all-black whisk. We’ll craft a special broom with a solid twine-wrapped handle for a sleek and unified finish. Along the way, you’ll learn key techniques like tension winding and stitching. Use this as a special ceremonial Samhain broom, or a beautifully designed tool for your home.


The kit includes:
- black broomcorn
- black twine
- a stitching clamp
- a stitching needle

Other items you may need which are not included:
- a sharp knife
- a pair of scissors
- a lighter
- a short dowel to use as a foot brake (explained later)

Cost includes the custom kit, admission to the Zoom class, and a recorded demo.

An email will be sent to you prior to the class detailing how to log in and other tips to prepare for class in advance. IMPORTANT - you must be signed up to receive email updates in order to receive the prep email. Without the prep email, you will not have access to the class.

SHIPPING:
Kits for Live workshops are shipped the week prior to the workshop date.
Example: If you place your order in November for a workshop that takes place in March, your kit will not ship until March, etc.
Kits for Recorded Workshops are usually shipped within two weeks. (Unless ordered with a live workshop, then both ship the week before the live workshop.)
We package orders on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Packages are dropped at the post office on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Orders placed after 4pm pst on Wednesday will not ship out until the following week.

CUSTOMERS OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES:
- Purchase 4-6 weeks prior to the class date to ensure your kit arrives in time.
- This kit ships in a 25”/63.5cm x 6”/15cm x 2”/5cm box. Please check with your local postal organization to determine if this package size will get through.
- Know your Time Zone and consider the workshop’s time of day. All workshops are scheduled on Pacific Time. Click Here to Convert Time Zones
- Please check your country’s Customs and Imports Regulations to ensure that materials such as processed natural fibers and cured hardwoods are accepted. For questions or concerns, contact me.
- Any duties/customs/VAT fees are the customer’s responsibility.
