Celebrate the richness of Autumn with the Fallen Leaves Solid Wrapped Whisk Bundle. In this two-part series on November 7 & 21 at 3pm Pacific, you’ll craft a pair of whisks in our curated Fall color mix, learning core broom-making skills along the way.
Our first class covers a simple whisk in the Turkey Wing or Hawk Tail style, finished with a solid wrap for a clean, color-blocked look. In the second session, you’ll create a stitched whisk with a matching solid wrapped handle, resulting in a polished, cohesive set.
These workshops introduce techniques such as tension winding with a foot break, twine wrapping for a solid finish, and stitching the bristle flat into your chosen shape. Perfect for beginners, this bundle balances ease of learning with the joy of creating timeless, functional tools.
Your kit will include:
- Fallen Leaves Broomcorn Mix
- Midnight Colored Twine
- Stitching Clamp
- Stitching Needle
Other tools you will need:
- a lighter
- a dowel to use as your foot brake
- a sharp knife
- sharp scissors
- a hand towel
- a hand clamp (optional, but helpful for taking breaks)
Cost includes the custom kit, admission to the Zoom classes, and recorded demos.
