Celebrate the turning of the year with a two-part virtual broom-making experience! This special Solstice Bundle includes both the Dip-Dyed Cobwebber on Friday, December 19 at 12pm Pacific and the Solstice Fire Hearth Broom on Saturday, December 20 at 12pm Pacific.
In the Dip-Dyed Cobwebber workshop, craft a broom with hand-dyed broomcorn that fades from deep celestial blue into its natural golden stalks. The long, untrimmed bristles are perfect for sweeping cobwebs and dusting hard-to-reach corners, creating a broom that’s both practical and ethereal.
The Solstice Fire Hearth Broom layers reds, ambers, golds, and deep twilight blue to evoke the warmth of a Solstice bonfire. Using a special twisting technique, we’ll spiral the broomcorn up a natural wooden handle, revealing the vibrant layers and capturing the flicker of fire in your broom. This broom makes a stunning addition to your home or a meaningful handmade gift.

The kit includes:
- Curated Colored Broomcorn
- Dip-Dyed Craft Broomcorn
- Complimenting Twine
- Twp natural broom handles (kiln-dried, ethically sourced PNW hardwood)
-A stitching clamp
- A stitching needle
Other items you will need to gather ahead of time:
- A sharp knife
- Scissors
- A lighter
- A straight wooden dowel, roughly hip-width and about 2” in diameter
- A tall vase or jar to soak the ends of your broomcorn in
For international orders, choose the “Local Pickup” option and include your address and phone number in the notes. In order to give you the fairest rates, we will bill you separately for S&H! Please contact us prior to purchasing for any shipping questions.
Cost includes the custom kit, admission to the Zoom class, and a recorded demo.
