Solstice Altar Whisk - Virtual Workshop - June 21

from $235.00

We will use a summery mix of sherbet pink and orange for this curated workshop!

This class is best suited for broom-makers with some experience.

This class takes place over Zoom at 10am pm PST on Saturday June 21 and will take about two-three hours.

Embrace summer by crafting a sacred Rooster Tail Whisk. This is the next step in our Curated Color Workshop Series, featuring our own hand-dyed broomcorn for the first time ever! This new experiment at the Broomshop is letting us play with fresh colors, and a dip-dyed ombre effect. We are continuing work on new dye batches, so the colors are still to be determined, but you can expect a fun summer inspired mix. The Solstice Workshop offers a chance to deepen your skills, leaving you with a stunning, versatile broom perfect for rituals and cleansing, or simply keeping your countertop tidy.

The kit includes:

- Broomcorn (Hand-dyed and curated for the season)
- Twine to complement

Other items you may need which are not included:
- a sharp knife
- a pair of scissors
- a lighter
- a hand towel for your lap
- a dowel to use as a foot brake (explained later)
- a way to soak your broomcorn (about 10” deep)

AFTER YOU PLACE YOUR ORDER:
Keep an eye on your Inbox! An email will be automatically sent to you immediately after purchase. This email includes the link to the Zoom class, instructions for how to prepare for class in advance, as well as the link to the recorded demo.
PLEASE KEEP THIS EMAIL. If you don’t see it in your inbox please check your spam, junk, and “promotions” email folders, and move it to your inbox so that it doesn’t get automatically deleted.
