Virtual Workshop - July 13 - Cobwebbers
Please read all information thoroughly!
This class takes place over Zoom at 1:00am PST on Saturday, July 13 and will take about two hours. Now with the option to build your kit with multiple broom’s worth of materials!
We will be making Cobwebbers! This class covers both stitching and weaving.
The kit includes:
- Broomcorn (only Natural is available for this class)
- Twine of your choosing
- Wooden stick for you broom handle (kiln-dried, ethically sourced PNW hardwood )
- A stitching needle
*please note: kits with multiples receive materials for multiple brooms but not multiple tools (like needles and clamps). For extra tools, please order separately.
Other items you will need to gather ahead of time:
- A sharp knife
- Scissors
- A lighter
- A hand towel
- A wooden dowel to use as a foot brake
- A gardening glove for your dominant hand (optional)
Please note that only Natural broomcorn is available for this class, so if you select Black broomcorn from the list, you will still receive Natural broomcorn.
Cost includes the custom kit, admission to the Zoom class, and a recorded demo.
Kits for Live workshops are shipped the week prior to the workshop date.
Example: If you make your purchase in November for a workshop that takes place in March, your kit will not ship until March, etc.
Your Prep & Demo Email will be sent to you immediately after placing your order - PLEASE KEEP THIS EMAIL. It details how to get to class, how to log in, and other tips to prepare for class in advance.
IMPORTANT - You must be signed up to receive email updates in order to receive the prep email. Without the prep email, you won’t have access to the class.
